Sea View Cottage is an outstanding property that is set overlooking Aberdovey Beach and the Dovey Estuary in what must be one of the most stunning locations in Aberdovey. The cottage was built around 1900 and belonged to the Penhelig Lodge to house their staff. The property has recently been renovated but still retains its original character, homely comforts and its own private grounds; with 3 small gardens and a private parking area. Sea View Cottage has an air of tranquillity and relaxation; from the large bay windows you have a grandstand view of the ebb and flow of the tides whatever the weather. ‘Lovers Lane’ runs just below the property and is a great shortcut in to the heart of the village or to the beach.

Please be aware that the cottage is set on a steep slope and has a small rock face to the rear, we strongly advice that children are supervised at all times whilst around the gardens. Also the road to the property is in a poor state of repair and is due to be resurfaced in the near future.

For walkers, there are routes from this property taking you directly to the hills and up to Bwlchgwyn with its panoramic views over Cardigan Bay and Happy Valley. To the West are walks along the beach to Tywyn 4 miles away and on to the Dysynni Valley beyond. Further afield is the beautiful Cader Idris Mountain Range and Blue Lakes just 30 minutes drive away.

For Golfers there is Aberdovey Golf Club rated as one of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the UK. The club has hosted many championships, including more recently the British Ladies' Home Internationals, and is also the regular home of the Welsh Seniors' Championship.

And for the sailors’, there is the Aberdovey Yacht Club which can be seen from the cottage, the club has an excellent club house alongside the beach. Membership forms are available at the club and new members are always welcome.

Sea View Cottage sleeps 4 and has:
On the ground floor there is a kitchen and spacious lounge/dining room with sea views and downstairs toilet. There is a utility room and back yard to the rear, which is excellent for storing and drying wet clothing or equipment.

The First Floor has a shower room with WC, a Front Double Bedroom and a Rear Twin Bedroom.

The semi-detached property has parking for two cars, a garden to the front, side and rear.

Unfortunately Sea View Cottage does not allow pets or smoking.

Short Breaks are not available during High Season, Peak Season and Holidays.
